In the heart of Saint Germain des Prés, near the Institute of the Arab World (IMA) , and l’Ile de la Cité, Baieta is the restaurant we don’t like to talk about so everyone doesn’t rush in and we can find our table…Originally from Nice, Julia Sedefdjian created her CAP Cuisine alongside David Faure in Paris she joined the Fables de la Fontaine in the 7th arrondissement, where the young chef obtain her star.
Her new restaurant is called Baieta, (means little kiss in Nice dialect) with Sébastien Jean-Joseph Gregory Anelka,
The list of the menu is short, which allows if you like to taste in the plate of your friends to make you a beautiful idea of what this young chef has the best to offer you and you will not regret it.

In this neighborhood near the East train station where one does not expect to make such a discovery, Marrow deserves the detour . If the Marrow menu is rather short, it is to better serve the customer, and it is a very good thing, you would like to taste everything and each course is a treat ( and at affordable prices)… Go for what gives the restaurant its name : the marrow bone cooked in a crust.
Friendly service. The cuisine is inventive, elegant, full of flavours and finesse. Chief Higo Blanchet comes from Robuchon via Darroze.

The Clamato is one of the last trendy destination in Paris. With a look and feeling of a wood cabin, the menu offers an inventive and modern seafood, in little tapas type of format . Fresh and convivial! Enjoy!

Count around 8 € for a tappas plate, and 60 € for a full seafood plate.

With Bouillon Pigalle, we travel straight back to popular french brasseries of the late 19th century, as much in the decor than in the spirit : very cheap menu, festive athmosphere and always crowded! So despites the 300 seats, expect to queue a little bit, but that is part of the experience. And you will be rewarded with delicious and so typically french speciality : pot-au-feu, beef tartare, poulette frites or blanquette de veau. Bon appétit!

Yaya is the lastest restaurant opened by the young superstar colombian chef Juan Arbelaez (29 years old and already 6 restaurants all around France + a Fooding prize). Located just outside Paris in Saint-Ouen, Yaya is a beautiful lofty type venue, full of light, designed by the parisian design agency Saguez & Partner. Like any of his projects, the young chef likes to be out of his confort zone : the menu is fully dedicated to the greek gastronomy, Arbelaez being in partnership with his friends the Chantzios brothers (founders of Kalios, a trendy olive oil brand). Greek menu but with respect of the seasons and the products : only fresh and seasonal stuff. Bonus : the bread is top quality too, the lunch menu very affordable (around 15 euros) and the cocktails menu very attractive!

Mikaela Liaroutsos is the young and talented chef of this bistrot from the 18th of Paris, and she could be one of the greatest talent of tomorow’s gastronomy.

After practicing at Michel de Rostang and Cyril Lignac, she opened her own place in September 2017. No folklore or fuss here, she simply cooks dishes that she likes, with fresh products and a greek inspiration. The menu is very attractive and affordable, with small and refined plates to share ( crémeux d’artichaut, anguille fumées, feta saganaki, girolles et pastourma…). Mikaele is playing with her greek origines and features the best products on the market.

After having practicing their talents at the Crillon and at Dominique Bouchet’s , those two friends from Britany created a certain buzz when opening their Canailles restaurant rue La Bruyère. Now they split in two to open this new Canailles Ménilmontant, in a old and charming brasserie from the 30′s. This gastronomic bistrot is a real tribute to this famous part of Paris, with a decoration full of winks to the parisian way of life in the 30′s. But most of all, here the gastronomy rules, with products of quality. The pleasure to savoure delicious meals in relaxed and charming athmosphere.

Chez Michel is located in a corner of the 10th arrondissement of Paris, near to the Church of St. Vincent de Paul. Thierry Breton proposes to us a country table. Fireplace and beams set the scene. Don’t miss the flavors of the soil with those of the sea: Mackerel filet with ratatouille and pesto; Angus Flank steak, red wine sauce, rocket and parmigiano cheese and purée; pigeon stuffed with foie gras (ballotine) and cabbage stew reduction…

Caffè Stern, located in the heart of Paris inside the Passage des Panoramas, is the brainchild of the Alajmo brothers and Gianni Frasi, a fourth-generation coffee roaster from Verona. Housed inside a landmark letterpress shop, Caffè Stern was brought back to life thanks to designer Philippe Starck.
Open all day, visitors can stop by for an olive oil brioche in the morning and return later in the day for Venetian-style “cicchetti” like baccalà mantecato (whipped stockfish) with fried polenta squares. The lunch and dinner menu features Italian classics revisited by Max Alajmo like spaghetti alla Carbonara or a “cappuccino” made with potato puree and Bolognese meat ragu.

Franco-Cambodian talented chef Tomy Gousset (from ex-Taillevent, and Le Meurice) opened his modern bistro rue Surcouf (Paris 7) with a contemporary decor, and at very reasonable prices. Tomy is offering a great menu (45 € !!)
You need to try the gnocchi with truffles or the chopped beef tongue topped with radish slices.
Also the chicken breast with fois gras, even the daurade with vegetables, the cold corn soup !!! ( and many other original and delicious proposal ).
To be tested absolutely: the house cheese-cake made with black cherry jam, or ( and !) the chocolate tart.
